RPM Limit

Upshift and downshift RPM limits, plus the automatic-mode shift point settings.

34 parameters: 15 documented, 8 covered by a family note, 11 not yet documented. 9 of the undocumented ones carry the vendor's own description and nothing else. 1 exist only on firmware 10.77. 1 were removed at 10.76.

Add RPM - Min. RPM Limit. Footbrake ON

# 0x4150 8×1
Raises the Min. RPM Limit thresholds while the footbrake is on, so the box downshifts earlier under braking. The value is RPM added to the Semi Auto Downshift maps.
Detail

TurboLamik XDF

Strategy is active when using footbrake, the value from this table is increased RPM to the "Min. RPM Limit, Semi Auto DOWN" map

Max. DOWN Target RPM , torque lower than 0 (TQ<0)

# 0x4CE 8×7
Before a downshift the TCU predicts the post-shift engine RPM and refuses the change if it would be too high. This table is the ceiling when engine torque is negative (coasting); the TQ>0 twin covers on-throttle downshifts.
Detail

TurboLamik XDF

Before changing gears, the TCU calculates the engine RPM and if the RPM is too high, the DOWN will not be allowed

Max. RPM Limit, Semi-Auto UP

# 0x38A0 8×8
The everyday shift-point surface: the RPM at which each gear upshifts, per program. In manual modes it acts as the forced-upshift ceiling; in auto modes it caps the shift schedule.
Detail

TurboLamik XDF

Generic Max engine RPM table, also used in automatic mode. If engine RPM reach set value for particular gear and program (P1-P8) TCU will perform UP. For full manual mode, set value higher than engine rev limit.

Min. RPM Limit 2-1, Semi Auto DOWN

# 0x7FCE 8×1
Minimum turbine RPM below which the box drops 2-1 in semi-auto. Per the official note the low values are special: 0 also allows upshifts at standstill, 1 allows them only once moving, and neither forces the downshift.
Detail

Automatic Maps Selecton

# 0x7ACB 3×8
For each auto mode (the AUTO row value 1-3) and gear, picks which of the eight shift maps applies. One cell drives both directions: set Gear 4 in Auto 2 to map 6 and both upshifts and downshifts for that gear use map 6 from their respective TPS tables. A cell of 0 disables automatic shifting there, which is manual mode: no auto upshift.
Detail

TurboLamik XDF
