The 8 modes (programs)
The TurboLamik ships with eight driving programs, P1 to P8. Every one is freely configurable in TunerPro RT, so the names below are the base-map defaults, not fixed behaviour.
| # | Program | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| P1 | Drive | Daily automatic |
| P2 | Drive Sport | Sportier automatic: later shifts, firmer |
| P3 | Manual Comfort | Manual shifting, smooth |
| P4 | Manual Sport | Manual shifting, firmer and faster |
| P5 | Manual Sport+ | Manual, aggressive |
| P6 | Manual Drag | Drag launches, full manual, trans-brake friendly |
| P7 | Drift | No auto-upshift, holds gear, virtual-clutch friendly |
| P8 | Dyno | Locked gear for dyno testing |

What you actually set per program
Each program is a row in the program/selector table. The parameters that matter:
- Auto vs manual — does the program upshift on its own, or only on your command.
- Shift points — the speed and throttle thresholds for up and down shifts (auto programs).
- Shift firmness / time — how fast and hard the shift is, set separately for up and down.
- Start / end gear — the gear range the program will use (for example lock out 1st, cap at 6th).
- Torque reduction — ask the ECU to cut torque during the shift for a cleaner change.
- Converter lockup — when the torque converter locks.
- AWD — behaviour on xDrive boxes.
Get the torque value right and run adaptation before you judge any program. A program that feels harsh is almost always a torque or adaptation problem, not the program. See troubleshooting.
