40 parameters: 26 documented, 11 covered by a family note, 3 not yet documented. 3 of the undocumented ones carry the vendor's own description and nothing else. 2 exist only on firmware 10.77.

Base maps ship the donor car profile (30 BMW 6HP Exx, 32 FXX, 36 Supra/G, 81 Dodge); fitting a standalone means setting it to your ECU: Haltech 8, MaxxECU 19, Ecumaster 1, Holley 11, Emtron 7, DTAFast 6, 0 for none/carby. Link is a generic custom-CAN profile that sits on either TCU Standard 1 (6) or TCU Standard 2 (7); pick one, then configure its Custom CAN RX layout by hand.
Profile codes drift between firmware versions (Holley moved between 10.74 and 10.75), so trust the list for your exact firmware. The profile also decides whether the brake can come over CAN: only profile 7 (TCU Standard 2) and OEM donor profiles carry a brake flag; everything else needs the footbrake wire.

Haltech reads I/O Expander data at 10 Hz, too slow for real-time shift cuts, precise blip control or fine torque modulation. 8speed's guidance: keep this path for logging, dash display and engine-side transmission safeties, and do not hang a blip or torque cut off I/O Box data.
