Native CAN stream at 50 Hz with full torque-reduction integration (10.76+), or legacy broadcast on older software.

CAN settings

• Native CAN stream (50 Hz)
• CAN IDs 1824 + 1825 (16 fixed fields)
• Requires Holley EFI software 10.76+ (use CAN bus 2)

Notes

• Firmware/software 10.76 or newer provides a native 50 Hz stream on CAN bus 2 with 16 fixed parameters across IDs 1824 and 1825.
• ID 1824: oil temp, gear, torque-reduction %, program, vehicle speed, blip flag, clutch slip % and converter slip %.
• ID 1825: engine torque, input RPM, lockup pressure %, error code, and neutral / parking / brake / trans-brake flags.
• For Holley software older than 10.76 (Dominator/HP), use the legacy custom CAN broadcast format (Race Pack / Standard).
• Torque is calculated internally by the TCU; it sends torque and the brake/neutral flags OUT to Holley, it does not read them from Holley.
• Because brake is an output here, wire the footbrake INPUT to pin 11 (A7).
• Torque reduction can be done by ignition timing, by drive-by-wire, or by both at once. The timing route is an ignition-correction map with TCU torque-reduction on the X axis and MAP on the Y axis.
