Haltech → TurboLamik
Well supportedEmulates a Haltech I/O Expander on CAN. Well supported.
CAN settings
Can2A Type CAR = 8Can2 Speed = 4Send ID 704
Notes
- Set Send ID+0 and Send ID+1.
- Analog CAN Out maximum value is 4095.
- For drive-by-wire, set Sensor Cal > Sensor Input to 13 (leave 0 if not DBW).
- Footbrake: wire it to pin 11 (A7), +12V from the brake-light circuit. The Haltech I/O Expander profile (8) carries no brake bit, and the Haltech broadcast protocol has no brake channel at all, so on a stock setup there is nothing on CAN to read.
- Footbrake over CAN IS possible on a Haltech and is reported working by users, so the pin is not your only option. The TCU side: Footbrake Signal Input = 13 (Can Input), and Can2B accepts "TCU Standard 2" (profile 7) as a parallel stream alongside Haltech on Can2A. Profile 7 is the stream that carries the brake bit. The Haltech has to send a matching frame. We have not captured a known-good settings set yet, so treat the exact values as unconfirmed.
- Torque is calculated internally by the TCU (MAP + RPM + TPS). Get it right before running adaptation.
